It a bridge and it does what its supposed to. There is a lot of foot traffic, some nice folks out for a stroll and some hobos going from downtown to Manette for bum beer at the good old R&K Market. The view is beautiful...More

Recent replacement of the old steel arch bridge with this attractive concrete structure is am improvement in that there is adequate clearance for modern vehicles. The approaches at both ends, particularly the round-about circle at the Manette end are problematic but serve the usual traffic...More

This is a great improvement aesthetically and for driveability over the old bridge. There's not a whole lot else one can say about a bridge, except they did a good job on the new bridge.

The Puget Sound area is so dramatic. The land is like a lace-work intersecting the water which dominates everything everywhere. This bridge dramatically connects one piece of land with another, part of the "weave."

I mean most of us washitonians who were born and raised out here saw the old bridge, decrepit and scary one car pass at a time. This bridge is way nicer!
