Our 2-year-old mostly enjoyed the swimming turtles, but we were able to pry him away long enough to enjoy the amphibian display. Sadly, the snakes were awesome but didn't move much, so our son didn't notice how cool they were. He did like the lizards though...just until he escaped back to the turtle tank. We appreciated the step stools at... More

Cute small. Perfect as a field trip for elementary school age children. Lots of gifts to purchase. Limited access to lots of bugs and very few reptiles. Worth it once

The Bug Museum is an interesting place. Lots of dead and live bugs plus a couple of snakes make up this little museum. It kept my interest longer then I expected and I look forward to returning! It is free admission but you are expected to make a donation. Definitely recommend it for all ages.

Our 10 and 12 year old enjoyed this little Bug Museum packed with interesting insects (dead and alive), plus a reptile room. It not only kept their interest but mine as well. Looking around takes about 45 minutes. The staff is helpful and informative. The museum is free but accepts donations. There is a nice collection of insects that one... More

I love coming in here and seeing the bugs and reptiles that they have here. They also have a ceiling to floor butterfly net with live butterflies. The weekends are cooler that's when they bring out bugs so you can see them up close and also the reptiles.

Great for younger children, our 3 grandchildren had fun checking out the bugs and reptiles under magnifying glasses. The real hit was the opportunity to hold a corn snake. Chris, the owner, was very patient and encouraging as they overcame their reluctance. Plus, we all learned some interesting reptile facts.

I liked the live tarantulas and bugs and ants, and the huge displays of mounted bugs were awfully impressive. We saw live bugs that looked like non-bugs (leaves, sticks), and many other exhibits, but I’d have to say the reptiles were my favorites. There is a huge, gorgeous albino boa constrictor named Stella who likes people (as friends, not food... More

Lucy and I enjoy the Bug Museum. She like the snakes and reptiles, me not so much. But having said that, great place to take a child with a curious mind. Thank you for being there!!!

This really is a great place to visit. The bugs are mounted, behind glass, and have real good labels so you can learn about them, or read them out loud so your kids hear about them. They have reptiles too, in a spearate room. And live turtles. You will learn a lot. It's not gross. It's fun. And Free
