Pleasant guide but not as advertised

The trip was not as advertised. The website advertised an 8 mile, 3 hour, Skagit river float viewing eagles in a heated raft, with lunch. We received a 2 mile, 1.5 hour... read more

This place is sketchy. I bought a WHITEWATER groupon. We got to the "meeting point" and it is literally a dirt pull off on the side of the road, not even big enough for all the cars. They caravaned us to a second pull off to park cars, packed us into 1980's RV and serial killer van and drove to... More

We made arrangements for the trip months ahead of time and were emailed a rendezvous address. We spoke with the owner the day before our trip and while he told us we would be in for a float instead of whitewater he did not mention a change in location. Morning of the trip, we arrive (after 2 hours of driving)... More

This company is a scam. Made my reservation for 5 people back on June - saw a great deal on Groupon. I had even spoke with Captain Dave on the phone prior to our trip and the day before I trip. I received email confirmation as to the location we would be meeting. 15 minutes after our supposed meeting time... More

So, i was looking for a fun and great adventure for my boyfriend who lives from the Philippines and for my 2 friends as a birthday gift and for my bro-in-law as a adrenaline junkie! I was about to book this trip through groupon! But, i decided before buying i should confirm from this so called "Captain Dave" the schedule... More

The trip was not as advertised. The website advertised an 8 mile, 3 hour, Skagit river float viewing eagles in a heated raft, with lunch. We received a 2 mile, 1.5 hour, Skagit river float viewing eagles in an unheated raft, with no lunch. I believe we ended up with the Mini Bald Eagle Float even though we paid for... More

Booked the intro to white water II/III trip on Groupon with out doing my research. When trying to book the owner was really hard to get ahold of to book. Finally got booked. There was a real lack of info available to me. Meeting place was a shell station. When I asked for an addresses he just told me a... More

In March, 2015, I "booked" a float trip in on the Chilkat River with these folks for the morning of June 16, 2015. We received an 'e-ticket' via email confirming the date and telling us what time to expect the shuttle to collect us. Well, the day before the trip was scheduled, June 15th, I got a call from someone... More

Well what shall we say. We booked a 3-hour whitewater trip on the Upper Skagit with Dave online. It turned out to be everything else than adventurous and stole us 5 hours - instead of 3... The promised lunch was some berries and cookies - which were kindly prepared for greatgrandma's teeth by the river water. But let's start at... More

Pacific NW Float Trips had a Groupon offer, and my friends and I each bought a ticket ahead of time. We bought an Upper Skagit whitewater trip -according to the website they met at 10 am at a park. I emailed Captain Dave to book our date and time. He eventually emailed back saying they changed the whitewater trip to... More

If you want to lose your money, a good way is to book a tour with Captain Dave. A group of friends and I have been wanting to visit the North Cascades for a long time. We finally were able to coordinate our schedules, and decided we would spend one day on a raft trip. I should have first checked... More
