Check the hours for tours and plan to be here during that time. There is not much to the production of aplets & cotlets but it's interesting and easy to spend a bit of time in the shop as you wait for the tour. A unique, and historic, little production factory in a sweet little small town.

Amazing tour and really learned the behind the scenes of production. After the tour, free samples and walked away with a few purchases. Recommend the tour.

Aplets & Cotlets are some of my favorite candies and I've always wanted to take the factory tour. Unfortunately, despite what is advertised, it is either closed early or only the gift shop is open. This was our third failed attempt in different seasons and different times of day. We watched the video that we could have watched on YouTube... More

Even though the machinery would not be operating in the afternoon when we were able to drop by with our group of 14, I called ahead and arranged a free tour and it was really good! We learned the history and how this one operation serves the world, which is amazing! There is a huge variety of tasty treats and... More

Our family loves to visit factories, and while this is was a very small factory, it was amazing to see all that they do and how much candy they produce in such a small space. The factory is located between Leavenworth, WA and Wenatchee, WA in the darling town of Cashmere. The store attached to the factory offers ample free... More

This was a fun experience for kids - because it's candy and it's short! It'seems always fun to see the manufacturing side of things, and even though they weren't in their busy season, there were things to see. Call ahead to make sure they are running equipment the day you want to visit.

This was my one and only unplanned stop this trip but after discovering this in the inn's guest directory and seeing how close we were to the Liberty Orchards Factory (15-20 minutes away in Cashmere), I had to squeeze in at least a stop by the store even though I did not have time for the factory tour. My dad... More

The history of this little candy factory is amazing. Two Armenians flee Turkey to avoid genocide then drive eat from Seattle to trade rain for sun and start an orchard. What to do with the bits and pieces of apple that are left? Make candy from your home country. Sweet!!!

This cute little shop and factory made for a wonderful part of our girls getaway. We shopped for our goodies & gifts, tasted the samples, and then put on our hair nets and took a tour. The tour guide was wonderful. A cheerful and knowledgeable young woman. Wish I would have gotten her name. She answered all of our questions... More

We stopped at the applicant Cotlets factory. It was really fun to see them making and packaging to Appleton Collett they offer the tour for people that were interested. The shop was filled with Appleton Cotlets and many other treats homemade jellies and jamsA lot to choose from. A fun little stop on our trip.
