Was fairly sure that this place was a forestry industry advertisement disguised as a learning center. Although your kids can and will learn and the exhibits are great it is still one big ad.

Great place to stop on the way up to Johnston Observatory. You'll almost always see a heard of Elk down in the river valley. Good information in the learning center.

This is a must stop place on your way up to the Johnston Ridge Observatory. The exhibits are excellent and many are hands on. I think this was the one with the helicopter that you could sit in.

This is one of the 4 stops on the west side of MSH. This one is definitely sponsored by Weyerhaeuser, but that's ok, they did a really good job. I learned a lot about the logging industry. I probably liked this better than the Johnson...More
