I believe our captains were Eric and Jeff we went April 18th! They were absolutely fantastic! I mention them specifically because of how nice and helpful they were with my kids! They explained everything the whales were doing and kept them engaged! For an almost 2 year old and a 5 year old, it is not easy to do! We... More

They were very accomendating to my large family with 7 little kids under 10. We ended up with our own boat with a great capitan that was very informative. Everyone had a fantastic time and we got to see a whale. The sun was out so the weather was great with beautiful scenery.

Our captain was eager to get off the dock so that we wouldn't lose track of the orcas that had been sighted earlier in the morning. After a quick trip, we caught up to three transient male orcas. AMAZING. We then went to check out some sealions on the rocks, when the captain spotted a humpback whale out of the... More

My sister, my 11 year old son and me took the 3 hour guided Point Doughty Kayak Trip. We stopped at an island that can only be reached by kayak and the view was AMAZING! Jason, our tour guide was filled with knowledge of the landscape, geographical history, interesting stories and really terrible (great) jokes. He was patient with all... More

This was a wonderful excursion for our first time sea kayaking. Jason was very knowledgeable of the area and local wildlife. We had wonderful weather and calm water. Would recommend to others and will be back again!

We enjoyed a perfect kayak tour this morning with Jason. He was a great guide and we saw seals, bald eagles and got beautiful views across the islands. Really well organized and a great way to enjoy this beautiful spot

Went on a tour on March 25th, which turned out to be a very nice day. Through a bit of networking, we quickly found a sizable pod which was very open to some face time. Over the course of the day we followed two pods, visited some packs of sea lions and seals, bald eagles, friendly staff; overall a great... More

Left from Bellingham/Lummi Island, then spent the first hour of the tour picking up more clients at Orcas. Feel like the crew took the easy way out taking us on a long boat ride to Salmon Bank, south of San Juan Island. No narration about our route or the islands we passed along the way. Once there, we spent one... More

There are three main whale watching outfitters on Orcas Island, all considered to be good. However, by a stroke of luck, OIE was the first to return our phone message and we got on board the same day. OIE has the fastest boats on the sound which meant we could get to where the whales were known to be in... More

they guarantee whales and have the fastest boat. I think the boat was fast and the ride was good, the captain and crew seemed knowledgeable. Make sure to get a spot outside or on the upper deck, near the captain, you'll get the best experience. I wished we had traveled around a bit more, we sort of kept watching the... More
