Beautiful network of forest trails. Well worth going to for a short hike. Be sure to pick up a map as there are many trails, and many ways to go.

Cougar mountain was only a few miles down the road so I took a drive early Saturday to the Harvey Manning Trailhead - easy to find following my phone's GPS. Ample parking and a very complete easy to read trail map at the entrance. I...More

There are a plethora of trails in this area. Many of the trail heads have car parks and portapotties. We hiked Margaret's Way trail. It was a beautiful forest hike that was well maintained and signposted. It is an out and back trail of approximately...More

Part of the Issaquah Alps - a large number of well maintained trails - most of which are all season.

Beautiful morning walk through a magical green place that spreads open before you. You almost expect to see hobbits, fairees, and perhaps a troll wandering in the woods along with you. Use the bathroom before starting, no facilities except the great outdoors.

Verdant, quiet beyond measure, with an occasional ( imagined I hope) glimpse of cougar or bear, this park is a hiker's delight. The gradient never too challenging, the paths well marked, gurgling streams and a vibrant ecosystem for birders and insect lovers, this is a...More

In Cougar Mountain, so lush, trees with miss, ferns and mushroom abounds. Well marked trails you can pick a short trail or do longer. There was a trail run when we were there and added to the excitement. Only 30 minutes away from downtown Seattle.
