The Skagit County Historical Museum has two dedicated displays dealing with the area and its history. In addition, there is a third hall which houses temporary displays. I have seen everything from native history to local artists featured here. Good fun.

I live here and was quite surprised to find such a classy museum. It is very well organized, well lit, and has a wide range of items as well as exhibits dealing with local culture. I wish there were a few more explanations for items.

We didn't expect this county museum to be so captivating...spent over an hour and a half here. Take your time browsing in pieces of history, especially the Hispanic connection.

This is an unusual Historical Museum...sorry for the oxymoron. There is not a crunch if LaConner history per square inch....but what is there is pretty accurate layout of that part of Skagit County. The exhibits are mostly photographs but what is there is good. I...More
