At the peak of August, the beach was wide open with close and easy parking. It's just a few steps versus some places where there's a long hike or steep drop to get there. The magnitude of driftwood is amazing. I am standing at the...More

We went toward the coast for Sunset, not sure if we would do First, Second or Third Beach. The decision was made for us, since there was no parking at Second or Third, but it worked out well! There is no hike required to get...More

After having seen several other beaches in the area, this beach wasn't that impressive. There was a lot of parking & a port-a-potty here.

Hmmm. Not sure about that. I know you can do campfires. Check their local site to be sure.

1st beach is about 15 miles west of Forks near the town on LaPush. As you are leaving Forks, there are signs. It is well worth the drive!
