What a treat to find this wonderful park with very well maintained trails along the Wenatchee River and only steps from our hotel. It really is a lovely walk and would be an easy walk for almost everyone. Signs along the way give you history...More

Loved this quite, scenic walk along the Wenatchee River. Lots of birdlife, dear and other wildlife. The west end has excellent sporting facilities including baseball/softball, a skateboard park and a bicycle BMX park as well. But the rest of the walk is in the woods...More

What a wonderful nature walk! Stroll along the Wenatchee River, watching for ducks, geese, and chipmunks. Read The interpretative signs, enjoy the stunning mountain scenery, or jog the easy slopes. And when you're done, walk back up to town for more shopping!

We really enjoyed this walk along the river-very nature oriented. We liked the graphics we encountered that explained the river and forest habitat and the flora and fauna. The path is wide and consists of crushed gravel. Our walk was a little over two miles,...More

Family members walked the park then we had a picnic near the water. Was great for all ages. We had 20 - 90 year olds.

It was a beautiful park with well kept trails and lots of maps. Great for families. I really liked reading all the signs about history and local wildlife.

This is one of our favorite walks as we go down to the river and across a walking bridge and look at the very clear water, and walk all around the little island there. It's flat , shaded by trees and an easy walk

A lovely, serene place to get away from the hustle & bustle of town, it's a short walk from the main streets. It was enjoyable watching folks having a good time and a safe place to relax.

I should start by noting that I am not a big fan of Leavenworth. I used to drive across Washington via US 2 regularly, and driving through Leavenworth is usually a nightmare. Despite my German heritage, I don't much care for German food, and the...More

We almost ran out of time and did not head down to the river, but seized the opportunity when we learned it was only a few minutes stroll from the village shops. It would have been a huge loss in our day's itinerary had we...More

Yes...When we visited we saw several dogs being walked in the park. One dog was having a great time playing fetch the stick in the water.
