Make sure to head to waterfront park and walk along the river paths. Great views of the surrounding cascades and wetlands. Some good bird watching along the idyllic river. The path covers about 2 miles that Intersect over three sections. When done grab a beer or wine back on front street.

We walked here each morning and it is a beautiful and enjoyable place to experience nature. The river is beautiful and the paths are easy walking. I recommend that if you are in Leavenworth take time to visit Waterfront Park.

This park may look and feel different in full summer. We visited in early April before the trees and flowers came out. The park didn't sparkle, but it did offer some good views. It's a little isolated from town foot traffic so I would recommend that you visit with caution and not after sunset.

This waterfront walking path is super to get away from the town (which is lovely) for a few minutes. It's peaceful, there's plenty of wildlife to watch, and the river is spectacular. We'll return next time, for sure.

We spent the night in Leavenworth and woke up to a beautiful clear day. We walked in Waterfront Park for a bit of exercise before heading back home. It is a lovely, peaceful place with a great view of the mountains. Many paths leading to the river and benches to rest. We weren't able to use the picnic tables along... More

I know, having read the book "Miracle Town" about Leavenworth, that much time, effort and thought went into this park thanks to the generosity of Carolyn Shutte. And it SHOWS! Stroll along the whole length of it or if you can, run it. It offers delightful views of the river and functional features all along the way. Don't skip the... More

The park is a very nice, clean, serene place to take a stroll along the riverfront. Enjoyable at any time of day or evening. I had the place to myself at sunrise. Wonderful lighting as the sun first strikes the mountains in the distance. Appreciate the town providing the informative signage along the paths that describes the history of the... More

One has to walk down to get to the park, which is understandable, it is by the Wenatchee River. Nice walking trails, a bridge over the river to an island, and it is easy to walk.
