Beautiful walking trail

It was snow packed but we all loved the walk! Our four year old grandson especially enjoyed having the freedom to safely roam off the path.

My wife and I stopped at this park as we were wondering around Leavenworth. Although the snow was up to the back of the benches it was a very beautiful spot with a fantastic bridge crossing connecting one side to the other.

We weren't able to see much of the park because of the compact snow and ice, but really enjoyed visiting the park.

We enjoyed a walk here as a quite escape from October Fest. The river was beautiful. It is a short distance from the main part of town and and easy walk.

This is conveniently located behind the downtown area. The paths are nice to walk on with pretty mountain and water views. There is also a bathroom.

Note: enchantment park on the west end has hills for sledding. Don't sled in Front Street Patk - too many cars nearby.

Walk the trail along the river to enjoy the views and wildlife. There are several places to get down to the river.

It may have been only 10* but we still had a beautiful peaceful walk through the park in our snow boots. It was nice to get away from the people and just be surrounded by the quiet of the snow covered trees.

During the summer months this is a great place to hang out and cool off in the river. Rent a raft or just wade out in the many little alcove. It's also very pretty when it's all covered in snow in the winter too.
