This hike is a little over a mile long (one way). Start by parking your vehicle just west of Leavenworth on the South side of the road next to the river. Walk across the 1/2 pipe bridge. If it is raining and the bridge deck...More

We love stopping at the Old Pipeline Trail a couple times a year. Sometimes it's just to dip our feet in the Wenatchee River and sometimes it might be to hike the entire short trail or just to get out on the old pipeline bridge....More

We took our two teens on this hike in early April. Still lots of snow on the trail, but a great hike! Very pretty!

Nice easy walk. Very quiet. It is easy to miss because there are no signs. Only a mile or so north of town.

I don't know what took me so long to discover this hike. Conveniently located just outside of Leavenworth proper on Hwy 2 in beautiful Tumwater Canyon. Interesting history of this pipeline. Beautiful in the fall with the autumn foliage.

This is an beautiful, easy walk. Favorite part was crossing the bridge at the beginning. So if you are not ready to go on a long walk, at least walk the bridge. Great location for pictures

It is very pretty and the trail seems lovely. My only issue was less than a mile in the trail became a creek and was no longer passable.

This trail is a great hike that, due to its length and relative flatness, is for everyone. The area is simply beautiful, and the sound of the water is refreshing (you can hear traffic on Highway 2 on parts of the trail). The old bridge...More

This short but beautiful hike takes you over the river on the bridge as described. When we went in September 2015, the bridge was dry and easy to walk across. Gorgeous views with a nice hiking trail easy for children to hike with you. Worth...More
