Worth a visit. Beautiful WA splenor ♡ Didn't walk much because we were tired and have small kids, but nice drive through. Saw some deer on our way out!

It was around 95 degrees when I last visited Leavenworth. This was an obvious choice to avoid heat stroke. The only downside is the rough road for the last several miles.

Easy hike; to extend it we took an offshoot "View Hike" that was not well traversed. Had to make our way through paths that were less maintained yet it was still a fun experience being up in the woods!

A great place to escape and relax! Quite a few campgrounds along the drive. The norm is sharing the place with MANY rock climbers! Bring your camera!

Great short drive from town. Definitely worth getting out of the car and hiking around a bit. I flew my drone around and got some great shots!

4.5 miles or so, Cool shade, walking through the forest, beautiful views of mountains, awesome roaring river, wild flowers strewn around meadows, kayakers to watch, bridges to cross and mostly LEVEL!! It doesn't get any better for a great walk! Look for Icicle Gorge Trail!
