What a gem!

Miss Arlene sits at the desk of the collection that she and her husband amassed over the years. It was so fun to have my daughter interested in the nutcrackers!

Nice place to visit. Almost 7,000 different nutcrackers displayed. A nice video telling about how they are made and another one about the history of nutcrackers.

We wanted to see the different types and they did have lots of them. Nice video before we viewed them talking about some of the history. Staff was willing to answer questions very nice place to visit.

The Nutcracker Museum was worth visiting if you have any interest in nutcrackers. The collection is vast and amazing. The cost to enter is quite reasonable.

This is a huge collection of all types of nutcrackers from different eras, dating back to the Renaissance. Definitely worth the small $5 admission.

Unbelievable number of nutcrackers. The video was most informative. The nutcracker museum is a must see in Leavenworth. There is a scavenger hunt to keep the kids attention.

We passed by this place and was hesitant at first to pay a small fee of $5. Since Active military are free, I told my hubby to check it out and see if it worth it. He came back and told us that since it was all family then we are free. Glad we came. It was an awesome collection... More

Walking in you see nutcrackers everywhere - but that is only the beginning! The collection is huge and includes more than nutcrackers. There are items from the 1600's and up to today in the collection. From wood to metal to ceramic, the nutcrackers are amazing.

It's a museum dedicated to the history, craft and artistry involved in nutcrackers. We allowed ourselves to really delve into the background, culture and craftsmanship that was displayed and we tasked ourselves to each learn three things we didn't know and pick out our favorite nutcracker! For me...it was Woody Goomsba...just Google him and you'll understand! You can only sample... More
