Lopez Bicycle Works and Kayaks is a full service and rental place. Service is most friendly. The staff was very helpful to me. Should you have either a bicycle or kayak need on Lopez Island, this is your place to stop.

I hopped off the ferry and was immediately impressed by the lack of traffic. I rode to Spencer Spit where bikes get in free! Had to walk some of the trails there, though. I took my mountain bike so that I could ride the cool...More

There are plenty of hills starting as you leave Fisherman's Bay. Ride to Shark Reef anyway because the tidal rip is worth it. If you're not in shape you'll make it anyway. Agate Beach is tough but worth it and the Restored Schoolhouse is great...More
