This is a small but impressive flight museum with fully operational planes from the 30's through WWII. All have been beautifully restored. There are a number of unique aircraft in this collection made even more interesting by the docents who provide personal guided tours. I can highly recommend Tom who was our guide and provided detailed history on each exhibit.... More

We were on our way to the Boeing Factory tour and fell upon Historic Flight Foundation. We stopped in not knowing what to expect. Turned out to be the best experience of our trip to Seattle. We received individual attention, guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He geared the tour to the level of knowledge we had about historical planes... More

We were amazed at the individual attention we got from the knowledgeable volunteers. What makes this experience stand out is the fact that you can get up close and personal with the planes. They are not roped off so you can't see the details. We spent at least 2 1/2 hours looking at and studying every part of each exhibit.... More

Pair this museum with a trip to the Boeing tour for visitors who love planes/aviation/history or visit the Historic Flight Museum as a stand alone activity. The collection is top notch and you are able to get up close to the planes and take a peek inside. I appreciate that they don't have barriers as all the planes currently fly... More

Wonderful small collection of the most pristine aircraft you can imagine. Enthusiastic, knowlegeable docents. Friendly, and you can get up close with the collection. A top aviation museum attraction.

We have been there many times. The people are friendly. The planes are all flyable. Anyone living near or visiting from out of town should take a tour.

This is a private collection of old war planes that still fly. You can even go for a ride if you would like. Some of the bombers you can climb into and see how small and tight they really were.

Went to Boeing factory tour then to Historic Flight Foundation. Planes are restored to perfect condition and most still fly. Amazing collection of WWII and Vietnam war era planes and other vehicles used in these wars. First class collection you won't be disappointed. Don't miss Historic Flight Foundation!

This is a collection of planes, tanks, etc from mostly World War ll, all collected by Paul Allen, previously of Microsoft. Every plane, tank, etc works and is driven/flown at least once a year. There are some very rare vehicles in the collection.

Flyable historical airplanes. Guided tour by volunteers of the foundation. You were able to climb into a B 25 bomber outside A couple special cars are in the museum as well. Small museum and the cost was $15 to enter
