Windjammer Park is a fun place to visit regardless of the season. It has paved paths, some flowers, a playground, a neat statue, a faux windmill, a swimming lagoon, large grassy areas, picnic shelters, a gazebo, and frontage along the shores of Oak Harbor.

We visit Windjammer every few nights after dinner to walk around with the dog. There is plenty to do here. Out favorite is to pack a lunch and eat by the water, then go walk around and enjoy the sun.

I can't remember what the name was last year when we visited. I think it was Oak Harbor park. The name changed recently. But a beautiful stop. Great water views.

Windjammer Park is essentially the centerpiece of Oak Harbor. It's a beautiful space, set around a full size windmill. There is an excellent playground, right behind the local baseball diamond, right near the boardwalk connecting this with Flintstone Park. Windjammer also features a lagoon of...More

We visited the park to take in the view. Very popular place with locals. Picnic tables, barbecue grills, restrooms, and shelters dot the park. They were building a new water treatment plant adjacent to the park so parking was a little tight.

We parked at this park, no charge. From there we road our bike on the shoreline path towards Penn Cove and then back to the Marina. Very nice little park in Oak Harbor to sit and watch the tide go in and then out.
