We wandered into the Creamery after having read an Edible Seattle article. The cheese is amazing. They offer the most fabulous, lightly salty cheese curds. It was so good, I could eat the whole container. They also make a delightful fromage blanc. There are offerings from their own production and also some very good gourmet cheeses from other makers. We... More

We stopped by the Mt. Townsend Creamery after spending a day in PT. The creamery staff provided us with some education regarding the cheese making process and how to select some cheeses for Thanksgiving. Very knowledgeable in their craft!

We stopped at the Mt. Townsend Creamery on our way home and were delighted by the people who work there and their willingness to share their products and knowledge with us. We tasted several of their cheeses and brought home three to continue enjoying.

Do not, I mean do not, leave Port Townsend without stopping at the Creamery. We love their handcrafted, soft-ripened cheeses. They are much less expensive to purchase here than in the groceries - our personal favorites are the Cirrus $6 and Seasick $10. They have a new spreadable cheese, almost like a cream cheese with much more flavor. It is... More

They have some amazing cheese. The truffle spread was my favorite. You can see it being made right on site. No charge to sample. Lots of other unique local products also. It was a fun time for our family reunion.

This was such a cool spot. The counter person told us about the process of making each cheese that was offered for tasting (there were several) and you can view the experts at work and read a few interpretive signs while you're there. There is also a shop that offers food items and picnic staples. They also sell local beer,... More

When I am in port Townsend I make a point to eat local and organic. The Mt. Townsend Creamery is my go to place for excellent locally made cheeses. They are sold at the local markets ( including Pike Place in Seattle), but I love visiting the local store. They have Happy Hour on Thursday and Friday afternoons when they... More

We live in Port Townsend, and frequent the creamery often. All of the products here are top shelf. A must stop for travelers.

Every time we venture to Port Townsend, we have 3 stops we MUST make. First is the Mt. Townsend Creamery off Sherman St after the second roundabout as you come into town. Great cheeses, like the Cirrus and many others, plus lots of other items to make a picnic out of. Always something to taste and helpful and knowledgeable counter... More
