Chetzamoka Park is a mandatory visit for anyone coming to town. It rarely has a lot of people, the Rhody's are amazing, there are bench swings to sit and dream, accees to the beach that walks one way to Fort Worden (1/2 hour) or the other to Pt. Hudson, (10 minutes.) I am a local with a stressful job so... More

This is a beautiful park....great for families. Rolling hills with lots of room to run, gazebo, ocean view, playground. I was surprised it's not always packed with people.

This park has everything. Beach. Rolling lawns for Frisbee or other things. Gazebo. Picnic tables. Views. Families with children will especially love it with playground and big tire swing. Lots of dogs visit.

Wonderful family park. Always clean and my Grandsons always ask to go play there. Cute cottage for private paries and a BBQ. Beautiful flower and arbor in the Spring and summer. Also access to walk on the beach..

As a Port Townsend resident, I have always had Chetzamoka Park for a playground. It is an easy access to the beach, with many activities - playground, picnic shelter, rose garden, gazebo and creek. It is a cool and relaxing spot to spend an outdoor day.

Nice little park right by the bay. Great place to take a book or picnic and just to hang out. Lovely place to relax.

This park, at the edge of town, features wide lawns, stately old trees, foot-operated bench swings (fun!), an arbor, a gazebo, and access to the rocky beach. Great for a walk, plus the water and mountain views are gorgeous.

This park is one of the Crown Jewels of Port Townsend. It has beach access & is uncrowded year round. Go when the tide is way out , take off your shoes and explore the warm sand flats, then head back to the park for your picnic lunch. There USA rest room in the park. Maybe even bring your blanket... I visited in March when the ground was still frozen so this was a followup to see plants in bloom. It was a much more rewarding visit! The flowers are simple but beautiful. It is so peaceful and cool to wander in the summertime, overlook the bay and watch the boats. I was especially taken with the two types of... More
