This winery is right off of the highway and a great place to swing by if you're in the area. The tasting room staff were very friendly and the wines were really tasty (I'm a bold red kinda gal, so their wines were right up my alley!).

My husband and I were gifted gift certificates to various wineries in Prosser. We had never been to the area and didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by all the wineries and tasting rooms. We stayed at the Desert Wind Winery, and after checking in and pouring some of the complimentary wine, we found that there are... If you are looking for a sweet wine, this is not your place. We tried a very dry Resiling. They said they ferment out the sugar in their wines. If dry is your palate, then pull in and give them a try. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable, both in and out. Easy to find out east of town... More

Visited Desert Wind tasting room with 3 other couples. We sat outside and because there was only one person working, it was a bit in between tastings. However, the wine was very good, and the employee seemed very knowledgeable about her wine. This tasting room has wonderful items for sale; could have spent another hour just looking.

We did not stay at their facility, but despite the lovely wine tasting and gift shop room/facility and friendly staff...we were all three were very disappointed in their wine tasting selections. They doubled their tasting cost this year, to $10, refundable with $25 purchase. BUT, the three of us did NOT find even one wine worthy of purchasing. It is... More

Desert Winds Winery consistently has excellent wine at a good price. We never miss t when traveling to the area. They also have accommodations on site if you are note interested in that.

We were driving home from Seattle and wanted to stop by a winery not too far from the highway AND a relatively unknown... well we got off I-82 and literally ran into the entrance to the winery! But even more impressive is the grand entrance to the wonderfully constructed tasting room. Beautiful and elegant... a blend of Tuscan Villa with... More

Good values/prices on the wine and a nice tasting experience. The southwest ambience is a little unusual but the staff were good and also honest about their favorites and recommendations

Thank lpsh
