There is something amazing about walking through a rainforest in a brilliant sunshiny day. It's majestic to see sunbeams shooting through moss encrusted ancient maple groves. The ranger station was closed but the two trail heads are well marked. We did not see any animals...More

There are a lot of interesting trees for kids to explore, trail is easy, and hike is short. But my kids really enjoyed this one. There is a nice restroom and a few picnic tables.

Many trails are available from a short loop to a longer trail. Trekking poles might help since some climbing is necessary .\

This is a very short, very easy little hike through a small section of the temperate rainforests of the Quinault Valley. Not steep and is a clear, wide trail. Good little hike for families with small children or people unable to tackle longer hikes.

A nice easy loop trail for 1.5 miles. It also goes for 4 miles if you want. Huge trees to look at very impressive. The trail is kept in good condition. Good walk for all ages.

We only saw a herd of elk over there; not much other than that. We didn't see any bear nor did we hear anything about bear over there. It was nice and peaceful while we were there. I hope this help and enjoy your trip.
