Beautiful monument

Easy to find in cemetery. Very interesting to visit. If you are into Jimi Hendrix, it's a good stop to make.

My sister and I stopped by to visit Jimi. It was a little awkward since there was a funeral going on close to the gravesite. We were standing taking pictures while mourners were close by. Felt odd. Remember, you are at a cemetery, there may be funerals...

Beautiful memorial to Jimi. Loved the etchings in the marble with very poignant sayings from Jimi. He left so soon. Was sorry to lose another great artist, Prince, the day following our visit to the memorial.

This was on the list of must do's for my niece and her boyfriend on their visit to WA. I hadn't been and really wasn't interested. I was thoroughly impressed. It's really a nice monument to Hendrix. If you are into music and are a fan I highly recommend checking it out.

This was a very tastefully-done tribute to one of the absolute legends of rock music. There weren't other visitors there while we were there but it apparently generates some traffic. Others left mementos at the gravesite.

Since Jimi is local and I am of that era, I had to check this out. Interesting that it isn't just for him, it's for anyone in his family and there are many spots waiting for family to join him. Family has famously quarreled about his legacy but this is a nice and peaceful place not too far as the... More

After visiting the Jimi Hendrix Experience back in 2011, it was only right for me to pay my respects to the memorial. Very nice and well put together. If you are in the area, definitely a must see.
