Always enjoy visiting the park with family. Although First Night was cold, we did have a nice walk through the park. Normally we love riding the Loofe Carousel, but was a bit to crowded.

We were in Spokane for a few days. We were staying downtown. We took a couple of long walks through this neat park. The river, the paths, the the views, and the people were all friendly. We used our google maps app to see all the walking path options. Be sure to check out the river and the river bridges.

Great trails around the park to walk, run, or ride your bike. Also, joins up with the Centennial Trail and you can go all the way to Idaho! Wonderful yearly events such as Chinese Lantern Festival, Pig Out in the Park, ice skating, film festival; as well as, a great place to hang out during Hoop Fest.

This park @ one time was filled with railroad tracks, a train station plus other business's. Then in19974 Spokane became the smallest city to every host a world fair. After the fair they turned the land into a beautiful park by the Spokane river that runs right threw downtown Spokane.

Every year we make multiple trips down to Riverfront Park. From the Gondola over the Falls, the Big Red Wagon or any of the events they hold we always have a great time.

I was suspicious whether there was any waterfall in winter. It actually was there and quite good a scene.
