A pleasant bike ride through downtown Spokane: this 9.2-mile trail runs past some of Spokane's historical sites, like Browne's Addition neighborhood and Riverfront Park.

We were spending a week here for the Gonzaga Family Weekend. Rented a car and proceeded to get lost in downtown Spokane. It was old, dirty, and had lots of homeless there. How do they survive the winters? Lots of one-way streets make navigating difficult...More

The front desk staff as well as the continental breakfast staff were very friendly. The food was excellent. The only thing to note is that the airport shuttle does not run on weekends, so you may have to consider renting a car.

From the many new shops, it looks like folks are discovering the fun of downtown Spokane! the entertainment district is full of lively options and the shopping ranges from unique specialty stores to franchise stand-bys. I can't wait for my next trip!

Spokane is a medium-sized city -- not too big and not too small -- with a very walkable downtown. I enjoyed the wide sidewalks and excellent signage.

Plenty of lodging, shopping, eating, and scenic walks available in walkable downtown area. Winery tasting rooms, the riverfront walk/Spokane falls, a mall...all with no huge crowds....More

Spokane has a small town atmosphere, with big town entertainment and restaurants. A river runs through downtown and they have a Park that is home to the Looff Carrousel built in the early 1900's.

My partner and I went on a sunny Sunday afternoon to check out the City for the first time. We were out looking at the riverfront, and due to construction ended up spending more time in the downtown. Nice shops, and a but spread out....More
