This place has a really neat atmosphere and you can go into one steam stack. I had the jalapeño beer, which was not good and the Gumbo which was ok but not great. The service was excellent, I would recommend for a neat place but have reservations on the food.

Toured the square for 45 minuets before dinner at Stacks Restaurant located in the square. Allot of local history in the building and very interesting how they converted space for use. If desire you can eat your meal in a converted Steam boiler firebox with some of the pipes still installed.

Those of you who love history, industrial architecture, engineering and something unique to visit in Spokane will love it here, as well as those enjoying a steam punk atmosphere. Enter from the main street and you go through office space and boutique shopping; keep going and you will see a main open area which is the inside of an old... More

Instead of taking down an old building, they built some stores and restaurants around the old steam plant. You still can see history while either dining or shopping. Ingenious and with a lot of character. Kudos to whomever thought of that.

There are a few nice niche boutiques on the one side, and a restaurant on the other. It's a great renovation of the old steam plant. One of the better things about downtown Spokane.

We stopped by on a Sunday for a look around, and though the shops were closed, we had a beer at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed looking around the restored steam plant. The architects did a fabulous job of retaining the features of the original steam plant. One of the boilers is now a private dining room (yes, it's big),... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. Had muscles as an appetizer and they were great. Also had the Blood Orange Beer and it hit the spot. If you're in town looking for a place to go this is it.

The staff is always kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is so eclectic. Being in and old historical building and see all of the amazing things and reading about the history. Their fish and chips are always great and their own beers are always the way to go.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. A friendly atmosphere that never feels crowded even when it is full. Excellent food. I like to try different dishes each time and have never been disappointed. Friendly, fast service.

Thank Lyn R
