We went the end of September, after a 10 week dry spell, but the falls was still great see. There was no rainbow, due to a lower flow of water. You can take the red bus, rent bicycle's, rent side by sides or walk. The...More

We rode the big red bus up to the Falls, it was eye opening to see the places the full time residents lived in! The Falls were quite lovely and, of course, the sounds and smells only added to the experience. 2 thumbs up!

You can rent bikes, hike there if you are energetic, or take a shuttle bus. (the schedule is in the general store)

Nice falls, but pretty average for mountain falls. Easy to get to and easy walk with one level a little higher.

Rent a bike and visit the places off the 5 mile paved road that leads to the park. The fall make for a good stop. Allocate 25 minutes. Near the orchard. Stop at the bakery for something delicious.

We took the 50-minute tour to Rainbow Falls. Transportation was provided by the National Park Service's "Red Bus". Our driver, Debi, provided a narrative overview of the main sites of Stehekin, including the local bakery & "old" school. I would advise taking the second tour...More

Decided to ride bikes here from the North Cascades Lodge, it isn't an easy ride but it is only about 2 miles out. If it is a hot day, stay on the mist trail near the waterfall and you will have a little water on...More

I believe it's $5.00 one way, but we were there off-season, it might go up to $7.00 during the summer season.

I have found the park ranger very accommodating with a large variety of chipmunk snacks. Both fresh and some frozen
