Just looking for something to do. Very impressed with the glass art. We were lucky to have an artist their at the time directing her art pieces being made. If you are into glass art this place is a must see. Be sure to check their calendar of events first.

MoG is a wonderful experience from the formal exhibits to the creations of glass art in the hot shop to the children's activities. The setting on the Tacoma waterfront, the outside art as well as the gift shop and a great cafe make for a wonderful ecperience.

Must see museum. Cars are constantly being rotated so it's always a new show. Everything from fully restored Cars to all original.

The exhibits are beautiful and stunning and throught provoking. The hot shop gallery is where I love to sit and watch the glassblowers create art from childrens' drawings.

I just made my second trip to the Museum of Glass in less than a year, and I'd happily come back again. This is a first-class small museum with a growing permanent collection and great special exhibits. The team of Hot Shop glassblowers is fun to watch. If you're just passing through town, you can enjoy the fabulous Chihuly glass... More

If visual stimulation excites you, then a "must see" is the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington. This place is filled with wonderfully unique and creative works made of glass. There is nothing quite like the experience of sitting in on the HOT SHOP where artists manipulate and transform molten glass of 2100-degrees Fahrenheit into works of art. The Hot... More

With a range styles and artists this a good place to get an understanding of the changes and developments of glass work. The live demonstrations are fun to watch with a good commentary and plenty of opportunity to ask questions. While here, its worth taking the stairs up to the Bridge of Glass.

This is a great family museum, but also fascinating for adults. The museum is the result of the Washington State glass blowing industry and in particular Dale Chihully and his compatriots. The building is unique and filled with a variety of exhibits not only newly produced pieces but collections from around the world. The glass blowing demonstrations are especially interesting... Visited this recently with my family. Never been to a museum of glass before so it was very interesting to see the way artists could mold and shape glass. The glass blowing shop was very cool to watch. I think it was worth seeing at least once.
