Lovely old building so glad they saved it instead of taking it down. The chandler is very special along with the other four Chilhuly pieces. The building is very special stop and see it.

I have been here several times, & it did not seem to have as many art exhibits as in the past. But it does have a lot of Chihuly glass, including a huge chandelier. Train memorabilia on the lower floors.

We went in here to view the Chihuly glass, the building is now a courthouse so not easy to walk around and view the whole building but quite interesting all the same.

Union Station has been repurposed into the court. Chihuly's works are just inside the building though you can get a glimpse from the Museum of Glass - as it is literally across the bridge from the Museum of Glass and next door to the Tacoma...More

Nope, now a courthouse. As stations go, nice to see if you are in the glass museum area, otherwise don't go out of your way.

Walk along Pacific Street in Tacoma and you will see some cool architecture, from the ultramodern Tacoma Arts Museum, to the stylish Museum of Glass, to the classic Union Station building. Striking to look at, Union Station offers a beautiful dome and many interesting details....More
