"Nice Day Trip"

Spectacular scenic drive and day trip experience. Hard to believe that a magnificent waterfall even exists here. We saw big horn sheep too!

It's just dirt out there, so they need to clear away some more space for parking. You drive down this road which a sign calls 2 miles long but I'm just certain it's more like 3 miles, terrible quality, with tire-sized potholes, only to find vastly too many cars for the parking availability, and people starting to get cut-throat with... I've been to Palouse Falls several times. The best time is probably in the summer when the spring run-off has died down and you can get down by the falls easier. Also really cool in the winter of it's been freezing.

A easy day trip from Tri-Cities, Spokane, or Walla Walla. This is a must-see if you are at all interested in geology. Amazing to learn how the falls were formed...in addition to seeing them in person.

A friend and I happened to be passing by on our way to the West side as part of our August 2015 road trip and thought, why not? The roads getting to the park itself were a bit rough, so take it slow once you leave the highway. I would also recommend bringing your own food/water and making sure you've... More

Happened to be "passing by" and figured why not? Not exactly a spot on the map that we'll pass by often. Had heard Palouse Falls mentioned in the same category as Snoqualmie Falls, Multnomah Falls, etc... well deserved comparisons! The falls and surrounding landscape are stunning. Views are available a minute or two from parking, literally. And then numerous trails... More

my wife and i have been here in the summer and found it a little too hot and a little too crowded. This time, we made the trek from Richland at the beginning of November. Weather could possibly be an issue doing it at this time of year but ours was perfect with clear skies and 58 degrees.( a stop... More

Easy to see the falls with a short walk from the car. Of the three of us only one walked down and around the falls. The views and photos are amazing!
