Nice stop

Hidden gem to get out of the car and stretch, climb into the rocks. We were the only ones there the day we stopped and it was clear so some great views.

In the 60's and 70's the Pinnacles were accessed through an orchard and as climbers, we respected the area and the orchard to the best of our abilities. Crowds and the age of liability changed all that and forced the orchard owner to close access until it was made into a state park in 1991. Due to it's drier climate... More

This state park has some beautiful rock climbing routes in an accessible location, between Leavenworth and Wenatchee (so there are many other climbing opportunities nearby). It used to be private land, but it's now a park. Honor the park's history and its generous neighbors: Bring your most considerate behavior to this small gemlike environment. If you're not a climber, you... More

Great views of the Wenatchee River Valley. Nice place for hiking. Easily accessible from the highway. Various difficulty levels.

If you are looking for a flat hike, look elsewhere... the trails here are smooth, but narrow and have a constant incline. Getting to the top will get your heart pumping, and you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Cashmere area. If you don't have a walkimg stick, watch your footing on the way down, as gravity isn't... More

I thought there would be a lot more to the State Park, but it is basicly a dusty parking lot with a dusty trail you can use. Looks like people do some horse back riding there. I would like to go and hike, but there was nothing that made us want to even get out and look. Would be great... More

This was a very scenic hike, but the trails are not well marked. Not being from Washington, it surprised me that we had to pay to park, when we were the only ones there. But that is how it is in Washington state at places designated as state parks. The trails offer fabulous vistas of the area.

Even though it is a relatively small park, it is worth the trip to visit. Take the trail to the left at the split for a more gentle grade to the top for a good view.

This is a beautiful spot and great for me and my dogs. The hike was not too hard for me and my bad knees. If I needed to take a rest I could easily catch up with others at another part of trail. Great hike for kids too and of course, climbers love this place.
