Large campground, would love to come camp here. Beautiful hills surround the lake. I don’t like that while it is a state park, you have to have a sno-park pass. We weren’t winter sporting, we just saw the park and stopped to check it out....More

We had our own little sandbar complete with a picnic table. The views were beautiful and the lake was pristine and warm. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to swim and have a packed lunch or dinner! It was surprisingly peaceful for a summer...More

Picnic, beach, camping, boating! We rode our motorcycles here and enjoyed the afternoon at the beach. Plenty of shade, great views, clean restrooms.

Found this gem of a park on the recommendation of the tourism booth representative in Winthrop. The water temperature was perfect for swimming. The shore was shallow enough for my 5 year old to splash around. There was lots of sand for playing with beach...More

This was a great destination for many travelers coming around the mountains. The weather changes so much warmer and the water is not as cold. The amenities are well taken care of though not much there. The beauty surrounding the lake is what it's all...More

Not if you're camping. Otherwise, you do need a Discover Pass because it's a state park. We camped there in June without a Discover Pass.
