Chateau Ste. Michelle Vineyards is an excellent place to take friends and visitors. The redesign is really well done...I give them an A for marketing. The staging, the look, as well as the ambiance is all well done. Not inexpensive but lots of fun.

This is the largest winery and tasting room in Woodinville. Beautiful grounds and very educational. They have many tasting rooms (can be a bit confusing) but the wines are fairly priced and good/great quality. Also a wonderful spot for a picnic.

By far the closest accommodations are at the Wiilows Lodge but be prepared to pay top dollar for a highly rated stay. We stayed last weekend and though expensive I will return. Eat at the Barking Frog if you have a chance.

UBER is big in this area. Otherwise, there are many wine tour limos, vans and shuttles.
