Very good restaurant, nice food, friendly atmosphere, seems a hit with the locals. One weird thing though. Due to the architecture of the building it is nearly impossible to find your way in to the restaurant!! The door is disguised. It sounds weird to say that but when you see it you will agree

There are several parking lots and ways to get to the Cowiche Canyon trail depending on what you are looking for. Snow Mountain Ranch is the ending of the trail the farthest from Yakima with the starting point being the Lower Cowiche Canyon trail parking lot off Cowiche Canyon Rd. In between the trail goes up to Scenic Drive, down... More

creative and delicious salads and something for everyone. The things they do with food is fun and just a little bit outside the box. Not so different that it is weird, but just slightly inventive.

This is actually a series of trails. The one which follows the creek through the base of the canyon is scenic and incredibly well maintained. Ignore the animosity of local infill landholders.

We went through the bottom part. There wasn't much to look at and it was surrounded by people's homes, so when you're walking you see their properties.

Great little hike with the kiddos and friends on a Saturday morning. Trailheads from either end of the trail, with a number of loops available throughout. The coolest part was the side trails that lead to a number of wineries in the area. Whole trail was about 5 miles (from one end, to the other and back) and the terrain... More

A beautiful easy walk for the family (not stroller friendly). Avoid going off-trail, especially in the hot months as there are rattle snakes. Don't leave valuables in your car. I understand there has been an increase of car break-ins at the parking lots (both sides).

The trail is interesting at all times of the year, about three miles one way. If you choose, you can hike up a side trail to a winery and do a tasting. There are more areas to hike that have been made possible by the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy. At each end of the canyon, you can hike to the uplands.... More

I took a drive along the lower trails and drove in the other side around the vineyards. It was beautiful.
