I had no idea this even existed until visiting the Capitol, May 2017. Just a beautiful memorial to the fallen heroes of West Virginia's military men and women. With the stunning Capitol campus and the West Virginia State Museum and Cultural Center as a backdrop,...More

West Virginians have fought and lost lives in all wars and battles. The telltale signs are that we have the highest per capita volunteers and similar per capita losses in most all where service was required. This monument is the site of many dedications and...More

Stopped for a closer look and found this Memorial to be very nicely done. A tribute to multiple wars with names.

Nicely done. This is located on the state capitol grounds in Charleston. It is worth the time to visit this complex. This memorial as well as the other monuments on the grounds of a state that was created by Abraham Lincoln are unique.
