Free tastings. Interesting whiskey and brandy. Not currently doing distillery tours which was disappointing. Very interesting decor-- lots to look at. Tried the restaurant for quick bite. Pepperoni rolls are great and the peach chutney that came with the fried green tomatoes was delicious! Very...More

West Virginia is noted for winding, narrow, steep roads, but you really have to be motivated to attempt the obscure route to this delightful winery, distillery, and restaurant. We found ourselves on this hair-raising road pulling our 22 foot travel trailer, debating whether we should...More

Made the trip for wine tasting traveling from Deep Creek, MD to Roanoke, WV. Did not feel welcomed at all. Very small sampling of the wine. Were out of Reisling. Prices were rather high as well. Would not waste my time going back there.

We really enjoyed our visit to Heston Farm, a little off the beaten path. While there, we did a wine tasting and were delighted with a wonderful Blackberry variety. We may have a "breakfast" favorite. We would definitely recommend and will return.

Was there kind of in the off season, but the staff was very friendly and patient. Neat layout, easy to find and would be a super place in the summer. I'll definitely go back.

Every time we go up I-79 we stop and visit. A great place to enjoy a bottle of wine, interact with the locals and enjoy their planned activities.

I've been out a few times for lunch - each occasion was wonderful. As the winery/property is somewhat outside of Fairmont, it's a bit more quiet during the week. Each time i'd been there (with a group of 4-6 others) we were among few others...More
