We were traveling to Virginia and stopped in Lewisburg WVa for the evening. Found an outstanding little restaurant and while eating we overheard someone saying they were going to the play at the theatre. We are always up for a play so we quickly ate,ran to the theatre,, across the street,, Lewisburg is not NY and saw a delightful play.... More

We recently saw Pump Boys and Dinettes at the GVT while staying nearby. This was our first time at this venue. It's small but every seat offers a good view of the stage, which is actually at floor level. This show was well done and the cast were enthusiastic. The GVT offers a nice way to spend a Saturday night.

My husband and I attended a musical here, in Lewisburg's main street; we saw Pump Boys and Dinettes, but my impression was, that every show is very well performed. We are traveling and for others who are, tell the box office when ordering tickets, and you will receive a discount. This is a first rate company; far superior to what... More

I have been to this theatre several times and I am so impressed with their professionalism and quality. Honestly, these productions are as good an anything you would see in New York. I have attended musicals and non-musicals and every time, I walk away so impressed. The actors, the sets, lights, costumes, the directing, are all top quality. If you... More

We say "You Can't Take it With You" and this opening performance was as good as plays we've seen in London and New York and San Francisco. The acting was superb, the set very creative.

My husband loves Charles Dickens Christmas Carol so I purchased tickets and made a short weekend getaway for us to Lewisburg. While the set area and seating are very small, everything was very efficient and clean. We were surprised at the amount of cast in the production. For small town theater this group does it top of the line!

Attended the GVT last evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience watching Veronica's Room. It was very well acted and presented. The small cast of four was exceptional. Kim Morgan Dean gave a great performance as Susan. As always, we were treated very well by the staff and the accommodations were wonderful.
