I just left here. I wanted to do lile a 30 minute walk. Great place to do this. It is clean and has some great trails. Bring some sturdy shoes as some of the hills are really steep.

Our family enjoys taking brief hikes here at least a couple times a year. Easy access and open, easy to walk trails make it great for kids- or just a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of Morgantown traffic.

The Arboretum is beautiful any time of the year; however, it is especially lovely in late Spring and early Summer when the many flowers are in full bloom.

When you are walking along the paths, you quickly forget that you are in a city. Some paths are easy strolls while others will increase your heart rate. Save some energy to walk back up the hill!

Bring your walking shoes or hiking boots. Many steep, primitive trails and interesting flora and fauna. Bicycles allowed on service road to rail trail.

So it's not really an arboretum and the trails (at least in the beginning) are on major inclines, so it's not restful at all. The arboretum part seems the size of a city block with minimal tree identification or beautification efforts. Prior similar places I've...More
