We did the Dungeons of Horror one. I didn't find it frightening, but I'm a 30 year old guy who has been watching horror movies for as long as I remember. My girlfriend found it terrifying though, if that helps. It was SUPER fun! The...More

Make sure you take the last tour of the day. The guide is amazing and allows you to wander at will and even places that are dark and creepy! Knowledgeable because he actually worked there when it was open. He loves to tell you about...More

My husband and I got there just as they were opening for the day so it was just the two of us on the tour. Loved it. Chuck was an outstanding guide. Was a former guard there so he has a lot of inside stories....More

We had the pleasure of having Maggie as our tour guide. She was great and really added to the tour. A must see! The tour was about 1 hr and 45 min. Well worth the $12!

Truly a hidden gem,and off the touristy path but worth the trip. Not a place for young children--should be at least 13. It is a massively huge place. Just to see all the fencing wire, cages, razor wire and the cells is an experience you...More

Great place for an investigation and the people are very knowledgeable. The pre-tour was complete and off we went on our own to explore. The only issue was being with a group of guys that like to flash their lights at the bats! There are...More

I wasn't aware that they allowed pets but I could see a dog moving along this tour well. I do not think we walked on stairs nor did we go into small spaces (except for the cells if we wanted to).

The place in itself looks intimidating, but there's nothing to really be scared about, especially during a day tour. It's more of how things were back in the 1800's, and the history of the building. I think an 11 year old... More
