This is a nice little museum if you are in the area. The items inside tell a nice story of Philippi and Barbour County. They charge a dollar to see the two mummies which isn’t bad. They will give you a tour or you can...More

Great little museum and delightful people who share the history. They are eager to explain artifacts and tell stories. The mummies are a neat piece of local history that tie to another great attraction over in Weston. My only complaint is that its tough to...More

Wish someone had shown up. It would have been nice to have some guidance to the numbered markers I keep seeing in front of the homes and businesses indicating sometime historic happened. Really wanted to your the small museum. :(

This little place has very limited hours. But once you make it in, it's pretty neat. They have old doctors tools, old money, and of coarse the mummies!! The story behind the mummies is pretty neat! Def worth stopping in to take a look!

If you are already in Philippi and you have a spare hour this place is worth checking out, it has many civil war exhibits and even two mummies.
