If you've never been here, you should try it. It's an amazing rock formation. If you're daring enough, you can climb it,but we settled on just walking up to the overlook platform. It takes a little while, but is worth it when you see the view from the top

As someone who was born and raised in central WV, Seneca Rocks is my favorite place in the state to visit! It's just so amazing. The mountains are beautiful!

Nice picnic area not too far from the visitors center that also has a stone viewing area of the rocks. If you look hard enough you can see climbers up on... More

My family and I loved our hike here last September. The forest was beautiful with a well maintained trail. It was nice to have the Discovery Center with nice bathrooms close by.

We come here every few years and hike up to the observation deck. Well maintained trail and a view worth the hike. Also has a few geocaches if you are in to that.

Seneca Rocks offers an easy hike up a well established trail to a fantastic overlook. You will not be alone here as there are many folks doing this hike routinely. You may also see rock climbers doing their thing up the cliff walls. If desired you can walk beyond the nice wooden platform to the very summit and be rewarded... More

All uphill but switchbacks are helpful and make hike doable for most people in cool weather. Good view from observation deck, best view of rocks is in lower parking lot.

Wonderful walk, beautiful views peaceful setting. Just consider, thinner air and any breathing problems, my husband went clear up to the lookout, while I had to turn back.

They have a visitor's center for the park. You can buy souvenirs and look out at Seneca Rocks. Also you can climb Seneca Rocks. They have a path that winds up to the top of the rocks and have a overlook platform looking out and down. It will take a while to make it up to the top, they have... More
