If you are more than a 10 handicap, you might want to bring a couple gross of golf balls. Lots of hazards and many are hidden, although the course booklet gives a pretty good idea of the hole layout. For what I'm used to playing...More

Spent three days playing golf with a group at The Raven GC. Stayed at the Inn at Snowshoe, had a great time. The group sales coordinator, Christine and Crystal were right on the ball and there every bit of the way to help with any...More

We traveled to Snowshoe to play this course specifically, and it was everything we hoped it would be. It was raining lightly the day we played, but that did not get in the way of this beautiful course. My husband and I seek out mountainous...More

We played six rounds in four days; unfortunately 2.5 rounds were played cart-path-only. You walk up and down hills enough when you can drive on the course and when you have to keep the carts on the path it is brutal. I carry a pedometer...More

Played with friends who had played the course many times before. For a resort course, it is very unforgiving. There are many blind shots, large elevation changes and hidden trouble. Fortunately is was not very busy so we were able to finish in less than...More

My husband and 2 son-in-laws played this course. They said it was hard and challenging. Very beautiful and enjoyed playing it very much.

Make sure you have plenty of golf balls unless you always hit the ball straight. You change elevation of 700 feet during your 18 holes of golf. Our package included range balls, breakfast and a steak dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.

Great design in great condition. The white tees will challenge you, the blues will require a strong iron game to the greens and the tips I don't want to think about. The course is well conditioned and worth the drive to this out of the...More
