Worth the trip out. Beautiful scenery and gorgeous mansion and out buildings. The gardens and conservatory were lovely. A four person peddle boat was only $8 and a lot of fun. We'd like to go back to play the golf course.

Excellent place to stay to see the real USA . The beauty of West Virginia coupled with a great resort . The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms and catering were superb Id definately recommend it for kids

Yes. They did have a laundry room at the Lodge for guests to use. I didn't check on how much a wash/dry cost.

We take our dog there to walk nearly every week. Not sure about the lodging with pets.
