We started off with the board walk by the lake, then did a little bit of easy hiking until we could see the lake from a lookout, and were glad that we decided to give ourselves a challenge by going back the next day and...More

I don't think my grandson ever thought that he would be climbing and hiking to the top of the bluffs that look over Devil's Lake when he went on a monthly Boy Scout camping trip to Devil's Lake, but he did. Weather-wise, it ended up...More

Very nice small lake, we took advantage of it's size to teach a couple our friends about scuba diving. Check out the 3 Little Devils Dive shop which is near by in Baraboo.

We followed the Wisconsin color peak site when we planned our hiking trip. The site said color was 100%. It wasn't, a lot of green on the bluffs! Very disappointed about the colors! Still gave it 5 stars because it's still a beautiful place!!

Just like walked something from our back yard. No far from Madison, this amazing place always bring nature and beauty together. Always enjoy the hike and the water of Devil's lake.

Most people like to relax when they travel. Me? I like to hike, and I can honestly say that Devil's Lake State Park of Wisconsin is one of the most beautiful places I have hiked, and that includes hiking that I've done in more "exotic"...More

We entered the park without expectation and were pleasantly surprised by the organization, concessions, and the hiking trails. We enjoyed both bluff trails. They were both a bit of a challenge, but not too much. Many families were enjoying them. The views from the top...More

We frequent this park. Every out of town visitor must visit and wee take them. It is a beautiful site to see. Everything from hiking, to swimming, playing, cook outs or just relaxing. Don't miss it. Can be very crowded on Summer weekends.

I would suggest parking in south lot, climbing up East bluff and hiking to North Shore of lake. Enjoy concessions or a kayak rental on North Shore of lake, then walk back along railroad tracks on the East shore of the lake... More

There is an entrance fee for the park, but there is no additional fee for bringing your own kayak.

Fantastic place to take young boys. If worried about ledges and steep stairs just stay low where trails are smooth and low. Water is best on south Shore for swimming. You will safe and have fun!
