So great to go up the tour and see the valley and all the beautiful lakes with the trees just turning.

Learn the history of Lapham tower and discover nature in the surrounding area. The visitors center is a must.

My wife and I have been retired for almost 6 years now. Lapham Peak is our "go-to" first place for a great walk in the park. There are a number of trails from moderate to hard. Great park for all types of exercising, biking, walking running. Also great for family picnics and various park events.

I live quite close to this park and love walking there with my dog. It's a large park and so I am able to find areas that are not very crowded, even on a weekend.

With out-of-state plates, for a day pass, we paid $11 to get into this park, and we felt it was WELL worth it. The park has lovely trails with a great map, interesting things to see like the observation tower (it doesn't LOOK that tall, but, boy, does it get windy about 3 flights up!), the homestead, the nature center...... Love hiking here. Lots of options from long hike with lots of hills to handicap accessible paved trails. Beautiful. XC skiing is great too!

One of SE Wisconsin's best kept secrets is the ecologically diverse and active sporting playground of Lapham Peak State Park. Just south of Delafield and a minute off I-94, you can immerse yourself in activity and natural beauty 12 months of the year. Winter fun includes cross country skiing over miles of trails, many of which are lit for night... More

We went with friends and enjoyed their company while doing a moderately difficult hike. We walked about three miles, ate a packed lunch, and returned up hill and were glad that we had not gone further. Loved the landscape.

I and a group of friends went here one late afternoon and had a picnic. We stayed near the tower. Tables were available. There was a water fountain and a clean restroom (no running water but there was hand sanitizer and toilet paper). We went up the tower and enjoyed the view. We only took a short hike since it...
