Our family has visited Peninsula State Park numerous times over the past 40 years. We have hiked and biked the trails, run on the roads, golfed, and swam at the beach. Every visit is a new adventure, and this is one of Wisconsin's true gems....More

Will just add to all the other great reviews. Great clean park with lots to do. Does have a great beach area, play set for little kids, gift shop, bike racks and lots parking.

Even in the winter there's a lot to do, from hiking, snowshoeing, to fat tire biking, cross country skiing, a great park to visit year round

We rented snow shoes in Fish Creek and spent a few hours on the fairly well marked trails. There wasn't a paper map available at our entrance (Eagle Tower), but there were a few guide maps on the trails. Easy parking and easy to navigate...More

Wisconsin's parks are beautiful and this one in Door County is especially easy to get to and enjoy. I've never camped there, but go often to hike, visit the lighthouse and even in winter have just driven through when I had a little extra time....More
