The zoo is well off the beaten path, but still attracts a crowd. The zip line is fun, but takes a while to get into gear and trudge up the hill. The rope course is fun, but would be better in smaller groups. Our group...More

I'm not a huge animal lover but even I get pangs of sympathy for the animals here. The zoo is a bit depressing at times and some areas smell terribly. My children really enjoy feeding the giraffes and watching the monkeys and lions but that...More

Our family had a wonderful time going to the zoo this past week. It wasn't that crowded because we went on a week day which I personally recommend.

It was a small zoo, but had a good selection of animals. Very clean and well kept. We ate lunch there and it was about what you'd expect. The highlight of our time there was feeding the giraffes. That was one of the coolest things...More

Cute zoo. Perfect for the littles as its not too big to cover everything in a few hours. Kids loved feeding the giraffes and watching the otters being fed. Loved that there's always a bench nearby (easy to find a nursing spot). Nice gift shop...More

The deerare beautiful right now with their color and antlers, the otters were sleeping, but the girl giraffe was so friendly! And our favorite is the swimming penguins!

I've been to dozens of zoos around the country. This was about average - it was generally clean and well cared for, and it was a decent size. The main weaknesses were: No linear path - I love zoos that naturally suggest the next best...More

What an awesome zoo. It might not be the biggest place you will ever go, but you are so close and feel like you are a part of the zoo. It was amazing getting to feed the giraffe! Can't wait to go back!
