A venue for vinifera, the Captain's Walk Winery offers premium grape wine...

A venue for vinifera, the Captain's Walk Winery offers premium grape wine tasting in a light-hearted manner. Partake in a laid back experience that usurps the snobbery out of wine while enjoying a unique tasting education. This pre-civil war house has been updated carefully to recapture 150 years of character. Plaster crown molding, the original fireplace and hardwood floors complement openings that offer viewing of the production room and cellars.

Great place!

We went here for a wine tasting and the staff was very helpful with selecting and describing the kinds of wine. A very unique place. The Gewurztraminer was the best!

We are a woman's organization that utilized Captain's as a new member recruitment venue. From the earliest stages of planning until we walked out the door we were met with a friendly and experienced staff. The prices for the wine and the food that was served were very fair and were just as advertised. Joe is very proud of the... More

My wife and I tried Captain's Walk for a wine tasting and dinner. We were extremely impressed with the reception, service, quality of the wine, the selection of bistro food, and value. I cannot say enough about the friendly and competent staff, especially Jim, one of the managers - simply first class. We ended up buying several bottles of their... More

My sister and I stopped here for a tasting. The employees were very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. We both found some new favorite wines and I was pleasantly surprised to find out they have a small cafe. It's in a room with a big window in the floor so you can see wine casks in the basement. Very cool place... More

Stopped in on a Thursday night and happened upon a release party for a new wine. Thoroughly enjoyed the tasting and our visit with Joe! Decided to stay for an appetizer plate and were very impressed with their Antipasto Platter. Our favorites are: Petit Verdot, Cuvee Trois, and the CIDER!!!

Informative and sweet staff. First time I've loved every wine I sampled. Amazing low prices for samples. Great price for wine bottles. Definitely recommend going! Plan on standing during samples. Easy to find.

Attended a larger group class on the history and science of wine in the larger bistro room on the main floor. The co-manager was knowledgeable and informative not only about this winery and it's wines but wine in general. The home in which this business resides is a nice historical lesson onto itself.

We're in Green Bay on a mini holiday and stopped in for a wine tasting. We came out on Monday and it was not busy and Joe spent a lot of time explaining the history of the house, the wines and overall Green Bay history. I could see on busier days it could get crowded, so make a reservation or... More

We were in town for an anniversary and decided to try the winery before dinner. We had just walked in and they announced they were doing an unscheduled tour if anyone was interested. Joe did a great job with the history of the building, the tour and the wine tasting afterward. The tasting room was quite busy when we were... More
