I drive a tour bus. Today we had about an extra hour on a tour and called LedgeStone to see if they could accommodate a group of 30 on very short notice. The man who answered the phone was kind and pleasant, explaining that he was not equipped to handle large groups, and that taking on a group of that... More

Good spot to stop and relax while traveling through or just to get away for a bit! Cool that you can actually see the grapes and the vineyards! I am not much of a dry or semi-dry wine person - but I did enjoy the 6 samples as it broadened my wine palette. The tastings were $7 a piece which... More

LedgeStone Vineyards has a comfortable tasting room with plenty of seating. At the tasting bar, they offered 6 wines; 3 whites and 3 reds. Two of the three reds were made from the estate grapes (hybrids developed to handle the colder weather). These wines carried the LedgeStone label. Other wines, including a decent Zin, are made from West Coast grapes... More

We've gone to their Thursday concerts a few times last summer. It us very relaxing. They had a few food vendors servings things like wood fire pizza, plus there wines by the glass or bottle and a few nice beers to choose. They have done seating, but your best bet is to bring a lawn chair. Access available off the... More

This was the first stop on our Vineyard and Brewery tours of Brown County. It is right on Hwy 57 and is an easy drive out of Green Bay. We arrived right at 11 am (opening) and were met by the owner. The tasting room is one of the best we visited in the county. Very welcoming- $7 per person... More

We always stop at Ledge Stone on our way to Door County. They offer estate wines, wines made by them from out of state grapes and a small offering of wines from big name wineries. Tim, the owner, always greets us and tends to us like we're family. The tasting is comprehensive and. costs $5.Bread and oil or a cheese... More

This winery is also a wineshop so you can taste and purchase good wine from other regions as well as some of the new varietals that are coming out of Wisconsin. The staff is very pleasant, down to earth, and knowledgeable. The wine here is outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I had a nice picnic with some wine... More

My wife and I drove here (had planned to ride our bikes on the Fox River Trail but got lazy) on a sunny Saturday afternoon. They had a wine tasting which, I believe, is always available for $5 which is very reasonable for six tastings. The tasting was a mix of their own wine and others. We also shared a... More

My husband and I have been here several times. Tim and Sarah the owners are always very poliet and knowledgeable. It is nice to see a family business thrive. On their tasting they have estate wines, wines they produce from grapes grown out of state and they are a wine shop so they have a few wines from other wineries... More

Every year in the fall we take a wine tour with our wine group from Sun Prairie, WI. We charter a coach and plan out an itinery with four or five wineries. We have tastings and spend money but this year at Ledge Stone we found they have such poor customer service we will not go back. We spend time... More
