What a very, very pleasant surprise. Spend 15 minutes or an hour to see a very well planned exhibit. It is free, but the suggested $3 donation is a bargain. The kids will love it!

Thanks so much for the review! Even though we are a small Museum, there really is a lot to see if you take your time. Glad to hear you had a great experience, and hope to see you again soon!

We stopped in to the Dinosaur Discovery museum while visiting Kenosha for the day. It's in a beautiful, old building that was once a Post Office. Inside, the first floor is dominated by Dinosaur skeletons of all sizes. The kids loved seeing all of them...More

In the afternoon of April 8, 2017W, my wife Judy and I traveled North on Sheridan Road from our home, turned left on 53rd Street and into the parking lot behind the Museum (Unfortunately, the Handicap parking is furthest from the walkway access.) Upon entering...More

Wow! Thanks so much for taking the time to right this wonderful review! It comes as a surprise to many people that some dinosaurs had feathers, or that they're related to modern day birds, and we love sharing those facts with our visitors. It sounds...More

The Dinosaur Discovery Museum packs a lot of dinosaurs and dinosaur evolution into one fairly small room. You will be greeted immediately when you enter the gallery by the toothy grin of a T-rex - it might cause you heart to beat a little faster....More

Thanks for taking the time to share your adventure! Our Museum may be small, but it is jam-packed with information, and actually houses the largest collection of Theropods (meat-eating dinos) in North America. If you really take your time and look at each specimen, you...More

The displays are incredible, as well as the information about all of the species. There is a nice gift shop and more to do downstairs for children. Very reasonable admission charge.

Displays were nice, but not worth bringing young children here. There is one small digging area in the basement for children, but its the size of a sandbox. I would recommend the museum having some dinosaur displays that are not just bones for the younger...More

It is a great little museum for children. The big dinosaur in the museum catches children by surprise. They should open up fossil digs for children and not just school trips. They might also want to add more exibits.

There is no admission price, as it is a free museum. They do have donation boxes though if you want to make a donation.
