Had time to get in a quick round last day in October.

Even this late in the year the course was in awesome shape. I played the meows/valley course. Must have hit it just right as I was able to play 18 in under 2-1/2 hours. Even if it... read more

Even this late in the year the course was in awesome shape. I played the meows/valley course. Must have hit it just right as I was able to play 18 in under 2-1/2 hours. Even if it does take longer during the year this is just one of all their courses that you must play.

Played the River course on Friday Oct. 15th. Really difficult course, even for low single digits. The greens have a lot of undulation and were very very fast. Very smooth too. Can see why it is top rated and has hosted big tournaments

I got to say that for 400 dollars I expected to have fun with the round. I met Roger on the third hole. He was a completely disrespectful ranger. Needless to say the round went south because of the unnecessary aggravation. I have to say I would steer clear. I think there is much better places to spend your money.

The is a gorgeous course that is in perfect condition. It is a must play in addition to Straits and I might even rank it above The Irish Course. For a player in the 5 - 15 handicap area, it is a perfect place to enjoy the game.

The Blackwolf River greens were some of the nicest greens I've ever putted on: fast and true. Takes a bit to get used to, but then roll it with confidence. Pete Dye did a great job shaping a couple enigma course into this landscape. The views of the biggest flying American flag plus the Kohler factory were pretty awesome too.

My wife and I played both courses at Blackwolf run. We preferred the River over the Meadows. The Meadows was especially penal if you missed fairways and greens. We lost several sleeves of golf balls. On the meadows there are a few par 3s that if you don't put it on the green you will not find your golf ball.... More

My husband and I played the River Course that is a test to all levels of golfers but not for the faint of heart. Overall, Blackwolf Run is outstanding, the course is in immaculate condition and attention to guests is beyond first class. The fairways on this course are undulating and rolling; the rough is deep; the tee boxes and... More

The heading for this review is listed under Blackwolf Run. But, there are actually two courses at Blackwolf Run. One is called The River Course, the other is Meadow Valleys. So when you speak or hear of Blackwolf Run, just realize there are two courses. The River Course is the more famous of the two. It is the bigger and... More

When we arrived we could tell this was a special place. The caddy met us and joined us on the practice tee. He suggested we spend some time on the practice greens as they had cut them and rolled them for a qualifier in the next few days. He said the greens were as fast as he had seen them... More

Played our first round at the Blackwolf Run River course yesterday. While it is very expensive, it is world class and simply outstanding. The scenery is spectacular, the course is in spectacular shape and there is not a weak hole on the course...my favorite Pete Dye design I have experienced. I could not recommend enough taking a forecaddy if it... More
