The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will forever be a spiritual destination for visitors from all over the world. The Shrine is nestled on over 100 acres of God’s Country in the Mississippi River Valley. In addition to the many beautiful chapels, statues, gardens, and devotional areas, the Shrine has a full service cafe and gift shop open daily. The Shrine is open daily, there is never a charge for visiting, and everyone is welcome.

We met family there for lunch. Food and ambience was very nice. Staff very good. The gift shop has lots of unique gifts.

The path to the shrine winds up through the forest with stops along the way. Well worth the stop, my two teenagers enjoyed it as well. As an added bonus, we heard a barred owl calling as we were walking back.

Beautiful walk to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. People there were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Rides up the hill were offered but not needed. A very peaceful place to take time for reflection.More

You would fly into La Crosse Airport, La Crosse Wisconsin. Then rent a car or Uber. Probably not open at this time of year.

Yes! But if you are seeking a plenary indulgence then the normal conditions of prayer for the Pope, Holy Communion, Holy Mass, and detachment from sin still apply.
